No mate it most certainly does not, but the posts arching up about this sh!!!t happening at summernats and bathurst every year since the 80's don't seem to be loading.

Really haven't been to bathurst so can't quote on that, but I've been to a few summernats. I've seen crowds of blokes yelling out show us your tits, then boeing if they don't. But I haven't seen any blokes run up and just rip their tops off for refusing.

Some of these comments are like saying because a girl wears a short skirt to a night club, that any guy can do what they want with her.

This. This is exactly the point.

I've watched both vids, and the quality is crap to say the least, to be able to discern anything about the girls emotion. Considering a lot of people smile and laugh when being made uncomfortable as a coping mechanism, judging her based on this is rubbish.

What some people seem to be missing the point here is this: This guy, I hate to admit, is a role model to a (hopefully) small portion of the next generation. By doing this onstage he's literally saying "oh hey, so a chick brushes off your advances with a bit of a giggle, it's ok to rip her gear off and if she still refuses push her back into a crowd of people/assault her/follow her home and rape her". The last ones a bit extreme, but we can't deny that hasn't happened in the past. I don't give a rat's **** if he's a nice guy off stage or not, if he was, he'd see this kind of behaviour as completely unacceptable regardless, purely because he's an icon for a group of younguns (says the youngun).

While a lot of girls will go to these gigs to see their idols, a lot wouldn't think "oh hey, I'm being asked onstage/backstage, woo! his intentions are honorable" a few naive ones would, hell. I used to be that naive. (Albeit, I was probably 14, and unable to go to gigs like this anyway, but hey, mum taught us the ways of the world pretty forcefully). For this reason, it's not safe to assume she'd expect that to be the reason to get up onstage (unless this is his thing, which I don't know, so I'm making the assumption it's not).

Spitting on a woman for talking to him, WHOA I'D LOVE FOR HIM TO TRY THAT WITH ME! I have NO respect for anyone, male or female who spits on another human being. The only time I'd see it as ok, is if it's my gran wiping food off my face. And that's completely different.

It's behaviour like this, that makes my blood boil. If I go to a gig, I don't expect to get sexually assaulted, regardless of the circumstance (and that is what THIS IS). (The "steel" is coated plastic, the real pain comes from the foot that feels like a steel cap no matter what shoe I'm wearing ;) )

Tl;dr

This guy is a role model. This behaviour is unacceptable. I couldn't give a damn if you were the king of Spain, I'd still punch you in the throat if you did either of these things to me.

This guy is an animal, it is sad that they believe they can act this way, however just watch the show that is filmed at a pawn shop (pawn stars I think) and it is soon revealed this is just how they act.
