Recently my Mondeo kindly informed me I had a fault with one of my Stop light globes. Great to get the warning, but I wasn't expecting the hassle to find a replacement. Turns out the likes of Repco don't stock Stop/Tail globes which are P21/4W (they only do P21/5W). So does anyone know whare you have to go to find such a thing? I am in Sydney. Thanks!!!

Well, I tried Supercheap to no avail, not so much out of stock as never stocked. I gave up and went to the source, my local Ford dealer's spare parts division.... Don't fall off your chairs everyone.... They are on backorder, there are none in the country!!!!!! So I am supposed to drive an unroadworthy car until when?????? I'm really regretting owning my Mondeo now.....

I would just be putting the 21/5w in I doubt you will pick the difference and if you did just do both sides they mostly come as a tiwn pack anyway. The car wont pick up the wrong wattage its only checking for an open circut on the bulb to tell you if 1 blows.

Hi all, well I've had an adventure but my problem is now solved. After sending an email to Narva and finding out that they had plenty of stock and were surprised that Repco and Supercheap weren't able to help me, I went to an Auto One store which had stock. MickMelb, I couldn't use the 21/5w option as the 21/4w globe has offset pins in a different arrangement and so not compatible.
