Hi all
I have a set of extractors off a XR8 with the 200 motor here to fit to my missus's 5.0 Series 3 Ghia. Its currently stock as a rock with the charming crush tube headers. Question is before I pull it apart is are the extractors a direct bolt up replacememnt for the crush tube headers to the facotry Y piece? I dont want to have it all pulled apart to find that I have to have it all modified to suit. We have had a single 3" system fitted not long ago and its now time to make it earn its keep with some new pipes. So are they a direct swap with the factory manifolds or will I need to get stuff moded to suit? Cheers |

I would say yes they will fit, only a guess though going on the theory that the standard cats on V8's all should be in the same position for off the shelf cat back exhausts etc.

They should, but you'd be best off getting them modded below the join to 2.5", and a pair of hi flow cat converters.
