Hey Guys
Alot of you live in sydney and travel by car there are numerous roads closed due to the floods which are worst than what we had last month Add to this thread if you know more areas so we can help each other avoid Merrylands/Smithfield industrial area (water is entering cars as we speak) M5 motorway (water is up to door handles on sedans) |

A light-hearted remark commenting on how it was more suited to boats than flying planes! I have been helping & supporting my brother whose house was flooded here in Melbourne in February 2011. He has only just recently been able to move back in. It has been a roller coaster of emotions dealing with insurance company's & their contractors. So yes, i have spared a thought, & for all his neighbours that were affected as well. |

Would we have had the same response if a regular member posted something similar? I'm thinking not. But because a moderator posted it, it makes it insensitive. |

I have come to find the only time my little Pathfinder wins at sets of lights is in this weather when intersections are about a foot deep in water! The mighty TD does well. All 76kws of her!

yeah the water table would still have been sky high before your second round of deluge. I used to live up the hill side toward Greystanes so that area never flooded. I remember a few mammoth hail storms though.

ive had a good laugh at this thread , there must be something in the air . NO ONE is going to be devastated about a flood prone air modelling field getting wet and causing grief about where to fly toy aeroplanes LOL . check the thanks part under flappists post , thats where it should've ended . and it was quite funny .
back on topic we had no rain in western sydney over night and it is a clear sunny day today , if there is flooding anywhere like yesterday , i dont know about it . i see the media cranked it up big time last night hoping to get a week of stories out of it , once again they failed . |
