I was coming home today and felt the need to take the last corner into our street hard - as I always do - and thinking I was some sort of Drifting pro mistook the corner and came in too fast , the back end came out and i was sliding on the road , hit the Gutter on one side hard!!! , and mounted the Island in the middle . And now Ive got a bent rear wheel . can anyone explain how I can fix or if i can claim for insurance?

Take the car to a mechanic and have it checked out to be sure you haven't damaged anything else.

...... I know where this will go. Even though you are asking advice on fixing the rim ....... many are going to pass judgement and you already have your question answered. You can fix it and ring your insurer in the morning to see how you go. I wouldn't bother going through insurance though. Excess will probably cover it anyway. Could be cheaper to get a new wheel depending on damage and yes ..... get the rest checked out.
Thread done before the lynching begins ...... rightly or wrongly.
