Quick need recommendations before 7PM
I need 2 12" subs that can handle 1000Wrms each @ 2 Ohm or 750Wrms each @ 4 Ohm One of the local audio dealers is having a sale tonight and I'm in need of bass again

Go the 2 Ohm sub, if you have an amp that supports this.

best 2 ive heard are the Pioneer TS-W3002D2 and the Alpine Type X
The type x is 4 ohm though (can be wired to 2 ohm somehow or another) The pioneer is dual 2 ohm

Nice subs, but I am partial to Rainbow and Digital Designs subs. Not too many stock them however.

i was recommended by a mate to buy 2 12" kicker cvr's in a box (google search kicker dcvr). he kept going on about how good his subs are for the price. after hearing his, i had to buy some. 2 weeks later, i bought em. i can honestly say they're awesome, the quality is there, their not that expensive, and their loud as!!!
i listen to heaps of different music from metal, rock, rap and drum and bass. their quick and punch hard. 2 years later, ive sold em to one of my mates because i moved to qld. he couldnt be happier. 2 years later i moved back to wa.. and their still going hard. im trying to get him to sell em back to me, but he wont. lol. i might get some new ones. im sure there are alot of awesome subs out there, im just giving my opinion on these. good luck in your search Dan

I've heard good things about kicker, although the only ones that would hold up to the punishment from my amp would be the square ones which would mean my fibreglass boxes would need to be replaced.
