To do list so far:
- Tint windows
- Lower stiffer suspension
- Rims
- Maybe XR front conversion
- Replace stero(Currently has a fairly new JVC CD head unit) with something like this:

Here's a first for me, My wife said I can do what ever I want to the wagon, but can't change anything on the T-Series, hmm maybe it's 'cause the wagon will be her daily driver. Anyway I won't be doing any big engine mods, maybe a CAI and exhaust will be all.
I'm not a big fan of the EL front, I prefer the EF so depending on cost I want to do the EL XR front conversion ASAP. Anyone have info of any after market mobs that do these front ends or where I could find the bits I need besides direct from a Ford dealer$$$$

The lights (globes, casing etc) you should be able to get from The_Dok. The front bar/grill etc from FTG, ebay etc. My AU XR conversion cost me around $1100 including bonnet, but didn't need painting as it was already black - you should be looking at around the same including paint because you won't need a bonnet (AFAIK).

if its an EL Wagon you'll need to get a new bonnet to do the XR Front end.

I will need a bonnet. The EF bonnet is OK, but the EL is not, but I will be swapping over the front of this EL with the front of my EF before the conversion so I won't need a bonnet :o)

** A repost from the eseries section **

Here are some pics of the car that I ended up buying..
101,000klm $7,550 after trade in of my old mans crappy 1989 Toyota(rebadged Holden VN)

http://photobucket.com/albums/v631/mighty8/Wagon/

List of things I am now loking for:
- Clear side repeaters
- EL GT rims (copies, the grey ones, not the gold ones)
- EL XR front conversion bits, lights, indicators, bonnet vents, grill.
- XR wagon rear roof spoiler
- XR wagon spoiler kit, I might get this from AWC($790)

Can someone recomend a place to go and get it lowered ?

I have found Pedders to be pretty good for suspension work/lowering. Best bet is to ring around and get prices - go to king springs site and get the part numbers you want - makes the quote comparison easier. Pedders also have a parts listing on their site.

Thanks for the mention JC but I'm afraid I'm unable to supply the EF/L XR headlights, these have been a "hard to obtain" item from day 1 due mainly to their limited production run, & also because of their (headlight assy's) ability to completely "self destruct" with even the most minor impact.
Have been "following" this thread & was thinking yesterday, "shoudda got my ar5e into gear sooner" & readied my EF to sell (needs parking dent repaired RHR door), might have been worth a look Tornado, well within your budget too.......still looks like you did well on the purchase, luv the wagons.

Thanks mate, I have been looking around for a long time and the one that I bought is very clean indeed. Looks and drives like a new car and came at a great price.

A shame about the lights, I guess I will have to keep looking an eye on ebay for these :o( If anyone ses any let me know.

Thanks...
