Just had a Great Wall (X200) at work. Needed a new door shell.

-New door shell was, well, swarefilter'd
-When a bloke from the GW dealership turned up to look at it...he was casuall about words like "thats how they come" "The new cars have dints like that" "No use trying for a new one" etc etc...


But...overall, for the money you pay for them, they are good cars...aslong as you have the Diesel. They seem to have gotten better, quality wise...just a few things like the way the pedals and gearbox feels (sora like a EA falcon lol).

But its easy to see why people buy them.

i would consider a cheap chinese rwd v8/v6 turbo coupe if there was one available.

Korean cars have been pushing in our market for around 25 years, and most of them are still sub-par. MAINLAND Chinese are so far behind it’s not even worth talking about. Forget the “expatriate” Chinese we’re all familiar with. If you were to make a sweeping generalisation about those, it would be that they are motivated, driven, hard-working, intelligent, diligent, and business savvy. Three of the last four companies I have worked for were Chinese owned. They could not organise a root in a brothel. Corrupt, lazy, incompetent, indolent, motivated only by politics and saving face. Their idea of quality control is to cover up your mistakes. Their current economic policy, and their willingness to exploit hoards of miserably paid workers in abysmal conditions will ensure their products remain cheap, but they are generations away from matching current design and quality.

i heard a great wall suv next to me today i thought the engine was broken it sounded terrible then i saw the badge and i thought ah ofcourse carry on chugging.
