Default Re: Dangerous Repairs Website

Its some times scary what goes on without you know about it.

I have had 2 not at fault claims with quotes from a preferable shop and the insurance company recommend shop. Both times the insurance mob have manipulated the quotes in front of me to get their choice. Once my prefered shop was actually cheaper by about $30 and the claims manager just added $50 worth of random extras to their quote to make it more expensive, right in front of me.

Now being in the industry its crazy to know how much insurance companies squeeze repairers.

Some guys i work with who have experience in the auto body shops say if they have an accident, they would demand their car go to whoever they nominate, not who the insurance company want to send the car too

I think if you speak loudly enough you can argue who you want reparing your car

Otherwise it will always go to the person who has bid the lowest to repair the car
