An AU2 Forte v8 was my daily from 06 to early 09. for the first 6 months of that I was doing 1200km a week (just getting to work and back). Managed ~730km a tank with gentle driving. I thought lpg would be a good idea but that started the process that killed it... lpg (vapour)+ stroker + reliability problems = headache.
