It is an offense for an adult to ride a push bike on the footpath.

These are all true and current laws in NSW that police can issue tickets for. If you give me time I can probably think of more.

It's an offence to misspell offence.

It isn't an offence to ride your bicycle on the footpath in Queensland unless otherwise stated.

I live in Melbourne, and I'm pretty sure one of the road rules is to indicate to change lanes. That one seems to have become a recommendation to most people not a rule.

I see at least one car a day changing lanes without an indicator.

You can get booked for eating or drinking (non-alcoholic drink) whilst driving. Comes under not being in full control of the vehicle.

And yes, it's as stupid as the mud splashing a bus one.

As for quoting a rule number when advertising. Sounds a little silly. Just advertising should be enough to wake people up to the fact, don't do what they're advertising not to do.

Given I see Police cars violating this reg, its unlikely anyone is going to get picked up for this, but it may be a different matter if someone sues you for injury/damages.

this is a cloudy issue. manufacturers don't seem to have to abide by the same laws. forward facing bonnet scoops are apparently illegal and yet cars like subaru wrx, turbo territory etc have them and are completely legal.
