After some recommendations or advice from people who may have already found a program to do this. The better half has been given an iPhone for work and would like a program that she can run on her work PC (runs windows) and sync the calendar to her iPhone so she can check appointments etc whilst away from her office. Can anybody recommend a program that might do this?

You can Sync your iPhone's Calender with Outlook.

Does her work have a server for the calendar?
If not you might be able to sync it through the icloud thingy.

Typically, a company would be running Microsoft Exchange on a server for internal users. To have an iPhone sync her calender via the net, they would Need to have that server connected to the net permenantly and running Outlook Web Access.
Never looked to see if there's a PC based sync, but if there was such an app the work PC would need to be permenantly turned on with web access and a port open to the world, this would be a big security no no. Just did a quick google, iCloud will do it for you, check out this video, it explains it all nicely - http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop...-KHQG0n4&gl=AU Of course, the work pc will need to remain on/connected to net if she requires live updates and the companies security policy high disallow this so might be worth running it by them mate. I current sync everything through my hotmail account, both contacts, calender appointments and e-mail are sync'ed between my iphone and hotmail website, works great and any changes I make on one device are reflected across all devices. Essentially hotmail acts as the cloud storage and anything that logs onto it will contain all the up to date information.
