Default Still waiting

Must be getting close now

May 19, 2008 - Holden will begin selling a hybrid Commodore by 2010 in an effort to reduce the environmental impact of the brand’s best-selling vehicle.

With a view to bolstering sluggish large car sales, improving the export potential of the locally-made Commodore and responding to increasing environmental concerns, a senior General Motors executive has confirmed a petrol-electric Commodore is likely to arrive in dealerships within two years.

He also confirmed a four-cylinder Commodore was being “looked at”.

Just remember, Ford took longer than expected for EcoLPI and Ecoboost. I'm sure there will be an article about it soon...

The media is to blame for a lot of this. They have a habit of taking things out of context and dreaming up their own stories.

Or on the other hand Holden are masters at manipulating the media and potential customers and lulling them into all these feel good stories, that came from the fairies, in an effort to give a perception that they are better than they actually are. Holden have done this for years, I used to hate it, but you know what, it works. Maybe Ford should do the same thing rather than keep everyone guessing, and generally guessing the worst case scenario.....

Huh.

The quote came directly from a Holden exec, so hard to see how its the media's fault, they can only work with the BS Holden give them.

No wonder the current Holden CEO came out a week or 2 ago and bagged the previous CEO's for talking things up that simply weren't going to happen. Typical Holden smoke and mirrors.
