I just had another look at the picture you posted, if thats your car minus the scoop. It is nice. Could be more agressive though. Lower, 18s, hard cover, more grunt. SVO Grille, or TS50 Front bar.

Looking good though. I'll let you know how i go with my scoops.

Cheers

Just for a bit of fun, here's an idea that I came up with a while ago.

http://www.fordforums.com.au/attachm...achmentid=5100While I actually love this, I can only imagine that it would be too difficult and too costly :(

Was having a look through the AWC site and did find the shakers. However, they are only for the V8's :( And very expensive! If you don't mind, rob_liss_lms10, where did you get yours? On the other hand, does anyone know how much a s/h shaker would be to buy from ebay, wrecker, wherever? If they are even out there of course. Btw, sorry all for dragging this thread on for so long, but I really am keen on this whole bonnet business.

I was thinking of vents to let some heat out. I think it would help my gas situation at the moment.

400 bucks?! Bargain! Don't suppose you'd mind giving a quick tutorial on what you had to do would you rob_liss_lms10? Also, what's this gas problem AUII_SE_Ute? I've been thinking of converting...

Cheers for the pics. Um, was it much trouble getting the shaker to work with the other intake? Did you have to make some double pipe gizmo? Or is that what comes with the shaker?

nothing came with the shaker, had to build all mounts, base and air intake. had to run twin 1inch hoses to pod filter, but will be changing that to 1/12 inch ones on w/end.have gone around back of engine to avoid radical bends and also lose of cold air due to motor radiant heat.a single 3inch pipe was to fat to fit and still look presentable.by using 2 pipes,I can weave them trough all the other stuff in there and place in bottom of airbox, just in case any water gets in.

With my gas, just might help dispurse engine heat a bit better. That's all I'm thinking.

Oh, ok. I'm not actually on gas myself. Don't want to sound like a retard, but does heat affect the way gas works?
