I've been hit and injured by a wannabe velodrome racer before as a pedestrian, so I have seen some bad cyclists. But they are a 1% that gives the majority a bad name. Just as there is that 1% for car drivers, motorcyclists, etc etc etc. in everything in life. Best thing people can do is try to be in the 99% that are decent, courteous drivers or whatever. Complaining doesn't help, just keep a level head and don't do anything stupid. Simple.

I have seen people comment that bikes should have rego plates so they can dob them in for breaking road rules, are these the same people that think it is unfair that the general public can call the hoon hotline or epa and dob them in for driving offences or cars that are too noisey?
Any cyclist that breaks road rules, deserves everything they cop, the same as any motorist should, I'm pretty sure there would not be a motorist out there that has not ever broken any road rule, whether speeding, talking on mobile phones, crossing double white lines, illegally parked etc etc and yet there wuld be cyclist out there that do obey all rules. There are always going to be people that do not behave as they should, whether cyclist, motor cyclist, car driver or truck diver.

Think everyone's had their say on the matter. Never a good debate but does show where some of the agro comes from on the roads.
