I'm being offered a au2 v8 motor from a fairlane in good condition i was just wondering is it going to be better then the motor in my au1 xr8?

185 kilowatt but the extra 10kw over the fairmont v8 175kw was due to the better exhaust on the fairlane so I guess it's 175kw still?

Only LTDs & S1 XR8s got the 185kw motor. All 'lanes got the 175. Mind you, they were only a set of extractors away from being the same.
