Hi Focii.
I trawl the UK ebay site a lot, looking for cheap mods, and always see heated side mirror replacements. (the glass/mirror) Did any OZ versions, like Ghia, Titanium etc come out with this feature? I've never pulled a mirror a part to see if its just a matter of plugging one in, or whether a new loom, switch etc is required. (where is the switch, if there is one?) Anyone got any info on this?

WS Fiestas have the heated mirrors but no Focus unfortunately.
Who knows the loom might be there for it, I think Focus runs a global wiring loom world wide? |

Leakey, I see your Thead Title doesn't include the MK1 (a.k.a. LR) but mine has them. Works in tandem with the heated rear screen and turns off when it reaches the desired temperature (or when the glass is clear). From memory the CL (base) model didn't have them though.

Thanks Fast Eddie!
I should have thought of that. My interior lights under the sun shades and rear passenger light are all LR. A lot of stuff is still compatible. Now that I know this, I'll sort something using LR bits, and wire it back to the rear demister. (might do a how to) @ Big Damo, I cant believe the looms on my LT. Absolute bare bones, and not even connectors to alloow another loom section to be added. I originally wanted to wire my spotties to the master light switch. NOPE! I also wanted to install headlight adjusters. NOPE! so I've had to do separate wiring. Mind you the switch for the spotties looks good in the centre console section. Had same issue wiring up the lights under the sun shades and rear. All custom.
