Man asked not to sit next to unaccompanied children in the interests of safety apparently. Outrageous if you ask me. By this logic no men of a certain religion should be allowed on flights which is absurd as well. You cannot tar a whole section of people because of the actions of a handful. |

Big old can of worms that one.
I don't know how I would have handled that myself. |

If the parents of the children were concerned, why did they let them fly unaccompanied?
Are we going to place a similar policy on public transport next? How about on footpaths? Taking this to its logical conclusion, we should separate men and have them travel up the front of the bus/train/plane, or have entirely separate modes of transport. That sounds like apartheid to me.....

You may as well go one step further and seperate a father from his own children if all men cant be trusted to sit next to one.
Thats really an absurd policy. I can understand the idea behind its origin but.....

Sadly most pedos are male.... and i can understand why they felt such a policy was in place, but have to sit on the fence with this one.

I can understand the airlines stance, if something happened they'd be sued.
The parents should be made to sign a waiver.

Nothing new...15 years ago I worked in childcare, and in my first job I was told that I was not allowed to change the nappy of a girls, instead only do boys nappies..
It's a disgrace, but that's the world we live in. I would've had a hard time keeping my diplomacy hat on if I was that guy...
