My driveway is cracked and raised and all that. I want a new one, but it's about 160msq.
After seeing this thread I don't think I could get a new one for anywhere near 10 grand |

A whole day for two men to form up a driveway? ($600) Half a day to remove the 4x2 formwork? ($300) A bit rich....you could form up at 7am to 9am, concrete on site at 9 am and you could have the formwork out in 20 minutes at 5pm with the cash in your pocket and driving home....weather permitting of course. I reckon with that in mind you could give the OP his price or close to it. |

Do you have any idea of what it takes to finish concrete. Just because it poured and in place doesn't mean its finished. What if the concrete comes and its too wet, things take longer. Plus the people doing the work aren't robots and need to have a break or they will break. I've done it before and my old man has his own company and did all his life. (Italian thats all they did).

think it's a forum troll. no way would it be worth that little with the materials man power not 15min, going from past experice in formwork trade takes a good few hours to box up slab as well get levels set up.
could understand 3500 in pocket to concreters without cost of materials
