Hi All,
Anyone here have a Blown 302 on an AU? We are trying to find out what are our options for a cold air intake. Currently baring a Vortex S Trim but we are upgrading it to the new Ti trim, but not much point when its sucking in air in the 60+ degree mark. For those that have this set up I’m sure your aware room is an issue. So what have you done to combat this issue? Below are some pics to help illustrate the situation. Cheers

Have a look at CRAIGAU3220's thread. He has a similar setup and his intake setup might give you some ideas.

I had a look but he has it a little different to me. He has it connected to the power steering side which is different! The pipe coming out for the intake looks like its so close to the bonnet! Looks good though

Its vortech. I have (had) mine just tucked down in behind the headlight between the charger and light. Plenty of people here with acron cold air drawing from the same spot. If your adding a bigger head unit and are after cool air do it properly and intercool it. Edit. Already looks intercooled. What's the intake temp. Have you thought of poping the intake through the inner guard behind light and drawing air from behind front bumper or extending that again to the driving light slot.

Heres an examply of one we done. This pic is when it had a draw through MAF on the inlet to the blower. Now it has the MAF removed from that side and a blow-through MAF installed in the cold-side piping before the T/B. This gave us even more room on the blower side.
