Default LW Sport Rim Damage

Wife "touched" the kerb with front left rim. It is a LW Sport Sedan. Scratches are not too deep but look pretty ordinary on what I think are great looking alloys (even though they are a %#@*^ to keep clean).

Can the scratches be taken out and the surface restored to something like original condition.

Your best bet would be to check your phone book for wheel repairers in your area and go from there

I am told it can be very expensive to repair mag wheels and may be cheaper to buy a second hand rim or live with gutter rash in the certain knowledge it will happen again.

If it isn't deep you will find that it isn't as expensive as you think. There is some rash that just can't be repaired well. They can fix it and take all the gouges out but it's not going to look pretty.
