I changed my series 2 au diff for a diff I brought now in told the diff I put in didn't have the tone wheels for the abs sensor ect. I'm advised an axle
Change will fix this by putting them on is this hard to do and doable at home anybody done a write up? Cheers |

assuming its live axle? no very easy to change axles, dismantle the brake set up on each side, undo 4 bolts holding the bearing plate in place, adn slide the axles out, sounds easy, but depends how often you swing spanners i guess.... if you installed the diff your self it shouldnt be a problem.

Yup live axle sounds sweet I'll try it myself no bearings needs to be replaced or anything? And I'm assuming the diff oil will need to be drained

can re-use the bearing they will be fine just re-use the same cup thats in the diff housing you pull your axles from
