Words that can only be written by someone who is truly at peace with himself and the world, what is amazing is that he is only 18 and seems to show no bitterness at all towards the deal that life has dealt him.

I wanted to say 'that poor boy', after reading the article you couldn't possibly say he was 'poor' in the things that matter in life.
He's done what most can't do, I sure haven't yet, and that's accept your fate and enjoy now. But as he points out, it's how you appreciate the now that matters.
