Default Oil Filter?

Hello Gents,
Newbe here and to fords. I just bought a 93 telstar and have a slight rattle on start up, goes away after a few seconds. I thought a anti drain back oil filter might help to keep oil in the system on cold starts.
Anyone have a part number of a good filter?

1993 Ford Telstar 2.0 4 banger auto trans. 190 clicks on it.

I was told this is a Mazda engine?

Steve in Christchurch
Cheers

I doubt an anti-drain back filter will solve your problems.

If it does, then good. I seriously doubt this will fix it. I would say that either your timing chain is stretched, or your hydraulic timing chain tensioner is stuffed.

At face value - replace both of them while you're in there.

Cheers!
