Default Ford BA GTP Seat Help

Hi ,

I am having trouble with the seats in the ba gtp , there is simply not enough room to fit larger people is there a solution to this problem ? , the local motor trimmer just want to take the seat out and experiment with it.

the rear of the seat is fine its the to fins on the front of the seats causing the issue ?

any help much appreciated.

Craig.

Personally, i'd maybe try get some seats from a different model, maybe GT seats or similar, or even XR.

keep the GT-P seats for when you sell.

I love the GT-P seats. They hug my form so well. Then again I'm not a full figure... 6"2 and 65kg lol.

Are they leather?

Replace them with F6 or GT seats and sell GT-P ones. Modding them will just look silly.

See if you can get GT seats and keep the GTP seats so you can put it back to original later.

If you get new seats, you need to get the one with side airbags.

Thanks for your input do the GT seats fit straight in , I did read they were a bit more comfortable than the GTP seats anyway.

GT seats fit straight in. Just make sure you get a set of BA/BF GT seats as it will have a Head/Thorax side airbag. FG has Thorax side airbag.

Thanks , I bought a foam drivers side seat base from ebay for $40 so I will take it to the motor trimmers so they can have a play with it , they did say there may be some metal plates in the front wings that would be my only concern.
