I'm going to take the car down to do another Wedesday night street meet on the 21st of this month & see what it does with the extra 88rwhp we found on the chassis dyno.
Maybe I'll see how hard the drag racing bug bites me lol Its a decent financial commitment to step it up for what will be a few meetings a year on what is a street car that gets raced now & then. I want to keep the car semi legal lol Cheers Brad

So it can be bolt together ? I though it would have to be one piece ? Would be good if you could do 2 piece and bolt the 2 together then wouldnt be as hard to fit |

He welds in plates with nuts on them on the floor/sill at the base of the B pillar, around your feet & on the parcel shelf. The B pillar hoop bolts to this, the side instrusion bar bolts to the B pillat hoop & the floor & the rear stays bolt from the B pillar hoop to the parcel shelf. The taxi bar bolts to the centre hoop. In my XT he says he welds in a permanent bar in the boot from the parcel shelf to the chassis rail. Hope that makes sense. Its a ***** of a job to get it out but it can be done, One of the boys at work have a similar set up in a HZ

Another mate got full cage and four link in his 1965 Stang and I cannot fault the quality of workmanship. I cannot talk for if it is a good four link etc as I have no experience in that stuff. Would I get something done there myself I would, I haven't had any experience with other to compare by but came good on quoted time & $ and quality.

This is ANDRAs responce to 6 point bolt in cages
Hi Wayne Most of the requirements are covered in the ANDRA Rulebook on pages 219-230. I understand your plight towards the road registered vehicles, this is a common problem in many states and is driven by the inflexibility of the Motor Registration departments, a national code of practice exists but is not adopted in all cases. On the other side of the coin are race cars that have breached the line of where the car has gone passed the allowances of a street vehicle and is now a racecar and should be treated as such. Basically roll cage designs could be broken into three variations; 1. Welded structure – ANDRA Accepted 2. Bolt-In structure with removable members (removable Taxi bar and side intrusion bar) – ANDRA Accepted 3. Bolt-In Removable structure – Not Accepted The first two listed are allowable under ANDRA requirements depending on the vehicle, the third variation is desirable especially in cases of street registered vehicles, however by allowing for the removal of the structure it introduces other factors such as scrutineering checks, wear and tear on the structure and fixings, structural integrity concerns, insurance and legal obligations. In order to allow this design into ANDRA competition at a minimum certification by an engineer would be required to certify structures to minimum design requirements. ANDRA has been working on these areas in an attempt to come up with a solution to this problem and will continue to until the problem is resolved, but until then the current requirements must be adhered to. Thanks for posting that Wayne
As far as Im aware its the taxi bar that the WA constabulary have the problem with. The problem they have is that rear seat passengers in an accident will collide into the bar. I reckon I might talk to an engineer about making the cage completely removable, otherwise the boys in blue will sticker our our street cars
