Default Recommend a Fiesta?

Would you recommend a second hand Fiesta?

I've found a WQ LX manual with 60,000km and air con.

But are these German Fords built well? Reliable?

Are there problems that Fiestas are prone to? Or major service costs like timing belts to look out for?

And just generally are Fiestas good to own?

While I own a German-Built Focus now, I did own a 2004 WP and 2009 WS Fiesta. Both were superb, and I'll probably move back to the Fiesta once we get a Titanium models with some more features. Both of mine were extremely reliable, having raked up 95K on the WP and 40K on the WS. Both built like rocks, and both cheap to service.

The aircon in the WP wasn't great, and I owned the Zetec with 16" wheels, so it was a rough as guts haha, but was a superb car to own.

Highly recommended buddy.
