Hello all,
To cut the long story short, when i stall up my wagon, a fairly loud air whooshing (like a massive vac leak) sounds from under the dash. To help make better sense of what im talking about, i have a vid from earlier when i was on my way home: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sr3v...ature=youtu.be Any idea on what it could be? Cheers! (Do gooders please read this if present: No i was not racing anybody, i very occasionally launch the car from lights when the drive is boring and nobody is around me. This car wont spin the tyres from a stop and i dont rev it beyond 3000 when i do so there are no laws that i have broken.)

the vacuum line to the heater hasn't come off has it?
it is behind the glovebox. set the heater a/c controls to feet, and put the fan on. if the vacuum hose is leaking or disconnected it will blow air to the demist/dash position only or the brake booster could be leaking too?

Hi cheers. It still works on the feet setting, all settings work as they should, except recirculate can sometimes let in outside air, being behind oil burning vans and diesel trucks stinks no matter what you set it to. Might be related??
Hm booster... the braking system works as it should, pedal feels is tops and it wont go to the floor if you stand on them no matter what. Hmmm...
