Default Question re parking on Punt Rd in Melbourne

Sorry if this is OT, not sure where else to ask it. I was wondering if parking is allowed on Punt Rd in Melbourne (specifically, the portion between Toorak Rd and High St) because I never see any cars parked on the road, yet there are no signs that would indicate that there is no parking permitted? The only signs that are up are the standard clearway signs during peak hour. Thanks folks.

Yes you can park. Just watch the clear way. Used to park around high street all the time.

IIRC, timed parking is allowed with restrictions and exclusions for residents as well as the Clearway periods for peak times that you mentioned. Funny you should raise this, I just said to my wife they should put another level above and make it only north bound (or south) with the lower level naturally the opposite to ease traffic, avoid having to aquire properties and make a massive improvement in conjestion without having to encroach outside the current roads footprint too much versus any other way. Or build underground carparks for those with no off-street parking/visitors/workers and have no parking on Punt Rd 24/7, And make any new developments build a minimum 2 car parking spaces per individual dwelling + one visitor spot per dwelling, don't like it, don't let them build it.. It's a joke otherwise.
