Default interior light

Hi guys,I have a 1999 Ford futura and the problem is my interior light wont go out automatically like it should.it just stays on and wont shut off.does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?

I would start with the doors and see if the buttons are stuck

You might like to check the headlights switch.
Around the outer edge of the headlight/parklight rotary switch, there is another 'slider' type dimmer switch that controls both the instrument lights brightness AND (at full rotation) turns on the overhead light!

Check that it's not selected to overhead light on, which will keep that light on without fadeout!

Does it ever turn off? If its a door, it should go out after 15mins as the BEM will turn it off.

Tihanks guys problem solved.wife knocked interior light switch onto the one position when she turned headlights on....yes she has blonde hair..lol
