Hi Everybody!!
Just throwing out a general Thank You! for all the people who have ever answered my questions or answered someone else's that I have search for in threads. I'm personally not a dyed in the wool revhead so I am regularly on here searching for answers as to why my XW is in a mood (Yes, 42yr old cars are moody). Just today I took the old girl out and she didn't want to change gears. As I've just had the C4 rebuilt I was shitting kittens  that I had done something wrong on re-install. Jump on here, find a thread mentioning same ailments. Thread suggests checking vacuum to modulator. Problem answered! flex hose at tranny end has split. Anyway, Thanks everybody for compiling this great source of information. It allows mechanical hacks like me to maintain an old classic without the inherent maintenance costs. Cheers.

Insptie of the BS that can be on here at times, that is why this is a great place.
I do older cars, I finished my apprenticship in 1993 and finished working on cars of all makes and models in 97, so my knowlage of problems with later model cars is limited, I have the core knowlage which gets me by but when it comes to a problem that is common on a particular model and the easier way to solve it, I come here.

Have to agree heaps of BS, but also a lot of valuable information is on this forum and knowledgable people.
