Hello all...There is no Ford car clubs here in the mid north coast of NSW...Myself and a freind of mine has started to get some interest from people in our area ( Port Macqurie ). Ive had a chat with Andrew Miedecke ( owner of the Ford dealership ) and he is very keen to trow in some sponsorship and also throw in free merchandise and offer discounts on all parts and merchandise to all members. But first of all we are trying to get an idea on how many people in our area that own a Ford ( up until 87....any car before the E- Series ) that would be willing to get together as a group and kickstarting a cruise and BBQ day with the family and freinds. If any one that does fit in this catorgory and is interested please PM me with your name and phone number and i will contact you. An add in the local paper will be placed shortly offering the same deal and hopefully soon form a social club and then advance to a fully registered club. So if anybody out there lives on the mid north coast of NSW and wants to start a social club to start off with please PM me so i can get some numbers together and get things rolling. You dont need a street machine to join...just a passion for Ford motor cars built to the XF range, so basicly all the X-Series...and then all the Cortinas...Ecsorts...Capris...Mustangs...ect..ect. ..
Also those guys that have already set up a club...please PM me for some extra tips on getting things rolling, ive been talking to the opposition...( the local Holden car club ) and they have been very helpfull with ideas and tips to kickstart it all. But id rather get it from the guys in here. Thanks for your time.

Hey thunderroo, have you by any chance noticed the X-Series Club on these forums? It's pretty much exactly what you just described.....

Im from Macksville, but it sounds like a good idea. The closest thing we get up here to a club is the annual GT run to Valla, but thats only once a year.

And the thing with the clubs that are near here (round 200k's away!!), they are only for one type of Ford, and its not as if there are that many of the same car runnin around the area.
Wouldn't it get right up the nostrils of all the holden boys... |
