Default Tom Gorman vs Dennis Mooney

The battle between the bosses of Australia's two largest vehicle manufacturers is drawing to a close. Denny Mooney had been predicting earlier this year that more than 1,000,000 new vehicles would be sold locally this year. Tom Gorman has been predicting a figure less than one million.

With less than one week remaining the media is beginning to acknowledge that Tom Gorman may be correct:

The final number is academic as all the growth has been in the imported vehicle sector. The local vehicle manufacturers will be down approximately 20,000 vehicles compared to last year with Holden contributing to the bulk of this reduction.

Just nice to see 'our' boy put one over that other guy. :hihi:

I'd prefer the assessment of other skills rather than thier predictive skill.

Basic reading and comprehension skills lesson #2 :

joke 1. something said or done to excite laughter or amusement. 2. an amusing or ridiculous circumstance 3. to speak or act in a playful or merry way. 4. to say something in mere sport, rather than in earnest.
