hey guys,
just thought i would let people know that the first sport compact event of the 2005/2006 calender @ wsid is being run on the 17th of december. entry is $110 and that also gets your 3 crew passes. the oz6 class looks dead already so i will more than likely go into oz mod or sport mod. im going to the strip tomorrow to pay entry and get some more info on prize money. would be good to see some fords out there even if they are stockies. must be 6 cylinder though. qualifying starts at noon through till 4, then into eliminations till 8pm. hope so see more fords this time around

i entered today, but staff havnt set out prize money for each class yet, so im not sure what class ill go in.

well it cleared to be great sunny day.
pulled a 1.59ft with 4 passes of 11.4. methanol injection and new fuel tank worked a treat. and i finally did a monster burnout. i will post up a pic when i download some. there is another sport compact event at wsid on in march. i got plenty of film but its all on mini tapes.

Wow, that is a seriously impressive 60' time. So that JMM converter is working out pretty well then...

Mate of mine entered his little Proton Satria "EVLJOE".
For his first time out on the track ever after major build-up and running low boost (10psi) ... also needing further tuning. He was happy with the run though ... but broke under his bracket he selected. he ran a 11.8@122mph. He selected 12.0 for his bracket ... ooops Mind you the Proton is running a rebuilt Galant VR4 motor and GSR AWD running-gear. He's hoping to get mid-low 10s with better launch ... and optimum boost ... and more tuning. This outing was a test and see what it ran ... it was driven to the event as well. First run he nearly put it in the wall sideways ... he had no traction even with AWD.
