Hi Guys,
Just bought a series 2 SR that came with one key only. Ford quoted me $125 for a new one. I went to a few key places but they only could do the series 1 keys. Apparently the series 2, 3 and BA keys now have a chip. Is this correct and is there any way around the $125? Your advice as always is greatly appreciated. GK |

Yes the keys do have a chip in them. Way around the $125 probably look for a key set on e-bay, or one of the forum sponsors ie FTG and then have it programmed for your car.
