I was just watching the utes during the clipsal 500 and thought since the xr8 ute hasn't been around for afew years now what do they use in the race series as I know most of the teams change the cars every few years if not every year but yeah just curious what they use in the v8 utes racing series

5.0l crate motors. All the Holden teams were whinging that they were two fast despite the engine polarities. So after dialing back the Ford setup and removing the restricter plates off the Holdens they are back on par with each other. Busts the myth of no replacement for displacement.
