My understanding is that the HSV club has postponed the Deca day and we are awaiting further news.

Do we need to run this with the HSV club or can we do our own day and open up some invites to cover costs better??

I am a local Shepp person, DECA is no longer a CAMS approved track you will need to source your own insurance, it has been like this for a couple of years.
AASA can supply insurance as well as CAMS, AASA tends to be cheaper without all the ********. Sorry for poking my head in, but I just thought I would let you know.
