I guess the ball is back in Fords court to up the ante on the Boss302, although its close enough to the new model they'll probably just wait for that.

I'm speculating that the next-generation GT500 will use an EcoBoosted 5.0.

It probably will, but RoadRunner was the Boss302 motor and I don't see that moving to forced induction.
