Hi guys i recently purchashed an xr6 fg turbo and thought overall not a bad punch pretty good power from factory but what really impressed me with this vehicle was the upgrades:
My first upgrade was through CV Performance i rang and spoke to the guys and Con,Vic and the boys suggested i start off with one of there custom tunes and a set of injectors. The vehicle produced 223.4kw standard and after abit of tickling by Con and set of injectors fitted by Johnie the car produce a massive 280.3kw at the wheels. Obviously i was excited to drive the vehicle and when i did i wasnt dissapointed not only did it have a huge increase in power but the vehicles driveability change was impressive as well gaining fuel economy upto 80km's per 65 litres of petrol and also complimented by more smoothness on light throttle acceleration and between the upshift gear changes. After a couple of weeks i wanted abit more so i spoke to Lambos from Hi-tech Exhaust and explained to him i wanted an exhaust system that he recommend for maximum performance increase that didnt sacrifice sound and noise level and the rest i left upto him and boy he didnt dissapoint what he provided to my vehicle was a master at his pure best excellent sound,no resination and still no noise and comfortable to drive the vehicle became a beast a massive power increase so back to CV Performance it was to check vehicle tune and power upgrade. The boys backed vehicle onto to Dyno and performed a power run and the figures it produced backed its amazing performance 311.5kw at the wheels so at this stage Con and Vic recomended that i upgrade the intercooler as the factory intercooler was not capable of performing effiecantley at this level so again i let the boys fit the intercooler they recomended and after a few more little mods they have gained through years of experience Con re-tuned my vehicle and it produced an amazing 322kw at wheels. The vehicle overall know i believe is a complete package huge power that has to be respected wild acceleration and beautiful driveability with fuel economy to match to match i am currently getting between 450-500km per 65litres of petrol.Thankyou guys both Cv Performance and Lambros at Hi-tech Exhaust for yet another amazing job perfectly executed. I will run my car at the next available street meet and keep you guys posted as to how it performs. In its factory form the vehicle ran a best 13.3@112mph and when it was custom tuned and injectors fitted 12.7@116mph im hoping i will run a low 12second quarter next time out. Very good! Sounds like she's running great and good power figure too. Pretty well maxed out on your standard turbo now so any plans to upgrade?

Good work. Engine itself (perhaps excluding valve springs, balancer and oil pump depending how far you go) is good for 400rwkw.
