wheelie bars can break, Johnny Habib's crash a few years back the wheelie bar's broke. wheelie bar's are not a guarantee they will stop you wheelstanding, you can bend wheelie bar's just loading and unloading the car on a truck/trailer. if she is going up with that much force, it's going up and staying up wheelie bar's or not. |

Tim Lynchs 1/8th mile wheel stand at about 180 mph wasn't a bad effort and didn't damage the car in the process, bloke in this one was damn lucky not to blow over.

"Tower, this is Red Mustang 1, permission for take-off"
"Red Mustang 1, this is the tower, permission for take-off denied" "Copy that tower, Red Mustang 1 returning to hanger" Never though i'd see a Mustang about to fly, but that was about as close as you can get. It was probably in the air at one point. |

luck definitely was on his side. the yank's are like that, i'd find it hard risking my car and staying into it they have sensor's telling them they are too high off the ground and even can setup so if the car is too high to cut timing etc to bring the car back down, but, alot of guy's won't run them.
