Next week I'll hopefully be able to get my new exhaust fitted. For those who dont know, the pipe that used to live under Matt's (zetec) car will soon be under mine, cant wait to get it on there.
Im going with twin side by side tips, but Im pretty sure they would be a tight squeeze to fit in the factory hole, so I think I may have to get the hole enlarged a bit. Probably a good idea to avoid melting etc anyway. So, question is, has anybody had to do, if so how much did it cost you, and how does it get done? Im not going to attempt it myself but Id like to know a bit more about it before I get it done. Im hoping that I wont have to get the bar repainted after its cut, but I think if it was a clean cut I wouldnt have to?

I dunno much about cutting, but that pipe of Matt's. It isn't clean...he has used it for sexual purposes....so i would clean it first. Just a word of warning :P

i wouldnt cut the bumper bar.
i wouldnt trust them to leave it smooth and without bits and chunks of paint missing around the area. if its to do with the size of he exhaust tip itself not fitting then jsut get a different tip put on, not worth hacking your cars bumper in my opinion. or just ask the guy you bought it from what he did...

all done. clean cut, no paint stuffups and didnt require a touchup which is even better. once the exhaust is in ill take some pics.

Should be a good weekend! I'll be driving up to Wagga to help Aust fit the zorst and filter, we'll do a how-to for exhaust fitment for the club website and the Typhoon intake with lots of pics and rate the performance and sound of each and how the increase goes.
I'll also rate the exhaust and see if it sounds and goes the same with an auto instead of a manual. I'm interested to see how the suspected torque drop down low affects performance compared to the 5-speed manual. Should crank harder midrange and up high though just like my car. Will be reviewed. I was very happy with the exhaust and I'm certain Aust will be too. Work in progress.
