Default Removing AU steering wheel

I've been told I need a 5 point t50 bit to remove the steering wheel, would the t50 in that set be the part i'm looking for?

Thanks

T50 Torx. 6 point. Buy a decent one if you plan on using it more than once. It also fits seat and seatbelt bolts. I would try and get a 1/2" one, rather then 3/8. Try Repco/Bursons or a tool specialist. Also a fair chance you will need a steering wheel puller, can be done without but its a PITA.

Should not require a wheel puller to get the wheel off. I have done it without.

I did mine without a puller and I changed the screws that hold the airbag on. I used screws with a 10mm head on them to replace, no more trouble.

6 point for the steering wheel. 5 point for the airbag. Pain in the **** to find.

If you get stuck for the 5 point airbag one you can cut a slot in a flat blade screwdriver tip and 'make it take it' as we say at work. But you will probably brake the screwdriver tip. i used 3 cheap tips to get the 2 screws out, and replaced them with regular bolts as above.
