Evaluating? They're designing and engineering it from the ground up.

And we should be building it to for the world, 1200 jobs would be retained. Makes me sick.

Hey ill buy a mustang lol.
I am truly saddened after hearing the news yesterday, My current XR6 is my 6th XR6 Falcon (Company Car) and I have just bought a 2013 XR6 Ute, just wondering if that is now worth nothing or lots more?

I would be more than happy to buy a Mustang maybe even a GT500 and a Shelby in my dreams...

I have always wondered why the Falcon wasn't exported? Its an awesome car for touring, I have averaged around 50,000Km's a year for the past 21yrs, all in a Ford Falcon (Co. Car) and never had an issue...

I've also owned a VW Golf, Audi TT and BMW M3 and had nothing but drama's with all three, the Audi TT was the worst followed closely by the Golf...

I don't care what they replace the Falcon with, I won't be buying it unless my Falcon gets written off. Even then, I'll be looking at a second hand turbo or an XR8.

Forgive me if i`m way off the mark, cbf reading all the posts and actually basing my theory on facts.
The GT500 is actually the top of the line model. The base V6 is around 22k.

Thats based on the old Ranger, not the new one. The new one is still around 1-2 years away.

You know that and I know that, but those oxygen thieves in Dearborn consider it all too hard and you guys all get the shaft as a result.
