I just purchased a second hand dec 2005 build i believe it to be a wq fiesta zetec and its unregistered i was just wondering where i can find the compliance plate?? the other thing i was wondering has anyone taken the oil cap off a 1.6 zetec whilst its idling as mine makes a droning noise like blowing into a empty bottle thats quite loud seems like sump wind-age the cap almost floats when resting in place?? is this normal thanks in advance

ok found compliance plate says feb2006 but build date dec2005 is this a WQ ???

Yep. Mine was built at the same time. They wouldn't give it to me until the end of march, something had to be replaced before release.
They had to give me a demo car for 2 weeks after I sold my old car the day my Zetec was supposed to be ready. They're a great little car.

when i regoed it they put it as 2006 model must be WQ so kiwijohn have you ever opened the oil cap while its running and heard this noise????
