Default What would you do if this was your kid? *Language Warning*

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...52098207965240
American for starters, there's the biggest problem.
If this was my child I'd be smacking that xbox over his head pretty quick smart. I'd be shocked if I knew any kid who spoke to their parents like that.

As Reggie Regan says "Bring back the Biff". The problem these days is if you give your kid a whack, its child abuse. I blame the tree hugging, politically correct flower power hippie talk to your child like an adult and they will respond types, for the way alot of kids are today. Give that little turd a good ol fashioned whacking when he deserves it, set the boundaries and ground rules and pull him into line.

Not just take it away, sell it and never buy another one. Then encourage the brat to stick things in live powerpoints to occupy his time.
I'm sure if I spoke like that to my parents when I was younger, they would not have hesitated to immediately unplug the game console - and that would be just for starters.
I never even had a games console - well our family had the black and white one with games like tennis, ie 2 sticks hitting a square ball back and forth. That was the only one we ever had. No NES, no Super NES, no Sega Megadrive, nor anything else like it.

Id calmly walk out the garage, grab my favorite hammer, and then walk into wherever the kid was playing his xbox and take to it with the biggest ИИИИeating grin on my face imaginable... and then id hang whatever was left of the controller on this door, and scatter the reminants of the console in his bed.

or simply get his milk and pour it inside the console Theres no way my kid would ever get away with talking to me, or anyone for that matter like that.

Poor kids got no hope. Did you see how bad he was at that video game. He struggled to shoot anyone. How is he going to get ahead in life if he cant shoot people properly in video games?

This is where I find it crazy that Smacking kids is so frowned upon. Its unforgivable that it is now a punishable offence. Kids are walking over their parents like this becasue they simply know taht they can get away with it without repercussions.

If either of my 2 boys behaved like that, They would be in for a thrashing of there life, grounded, TV taken away from them, there PS2 and all there game destroyed in front of them.

This is the reason why my wife and I restrict the amount of time in which our oldest boy is allowed to play on the PS2. We have both found that spending to much time playing computer games affect they temperament and in fact I had put the PS2 away for 6 months at on stage. Thirdly, we do not allow violent games to be played, again the temperament is affected an a bad way....

IMO Kid should be out side play games, no inside looking at the IDIOT box playing stupid computer games.

Well one of two thing to do to fix that. Grab his xbox blow the bloody thing up and then belt the dam day lights out of him. If that was my son he would not be able to sit down for a month at least. Bring back the BIFF

My sister's 11 year old boy plays these games none stop and talks to them let that so it might be ture that these kids are not ready for these games ,but they are aimed at and sold to over 15+ and poeple are letting their 7,8 kids play these games.

But makes for great "hand-eye" co-ordination

I think "violent" games are a waste of time and money and brain cells. But many adventure based games teach kids valuable skills like, information processing, lateral thinking and problem solving.

But what would i know. I still play Pac-Man on my Atari 2600 woody!

My dad had the heaviest hands in the world. One slap from him caused an earthquake in my world. It taught me quick the difference between right or wrong.

Once he slapped me for no reason. When i asked him what was that for, he said........."just in case, you were thinking of doing something wrong"....... I have more fear of him than Chuck Norris!

But if Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked you in the face, you would not learn from your actions. Because you would die. QED

I'd actually get the chocolate milk for him, throw it at him, then smack the living f**k out the little ИИИИ, then grab the xbox and donate it to charity while dragging him along.
