Default Does the Series 2 bonnet fit series 1

Series 2 bonnet bolts straight up to the series 1 right ?, Plan on purchasing front TS50 bar an grill for my series 1

bonnet will fit straight on. You will need a new bonnet latch as far as i know too.

there never was an xr wagon, wow! I seen a green one here in Adelaide some time ago never thought anything of it.

No, not in AU form, anyway. I think they produced an XR wagon from EB2 to EF.
Just in case you haven't seen mine, this is what Ford should have made (and continue to make an updated version for the BF model)


How does this relate to the thread subject? It had an AU2 bonnet, and now has an AU1/XR bonnet.
