Default Car Bra fitting and use

I have just bought a Car Bra for my FPV MKII GT. I plan to do a couple of long trips to Sydney, etc and thought it was a good idea to invest and save the paint work.

Can anyone give me some advice:

1. Their experience in using one.
2. Tips on fitting and use.
3. Heard a story about using glad wrap? How and where do I use it?

Thanks.

I have had a car bra for my last 4 Fords including the current GTP. I will only but the genuine Carbra from HERE.
I have seen lots of imitations that look like cheap crap and it's just not worth spoiling the look of the GT. Having had a few of them over the years, the best way I had found to keep them in good nick is to wash them after use and brush the felt at the back to keep it clean and in good condition and always put it back in its' bag when dry. The other thing I do before using the bra is to give the front of the car a coat of polish to avoid any friction on the paintwork. Other than that, they fit very snug and look great.

Apparently make sure the clips have grabbed on, have heard that when pulling the bra upwards the little clip scratched the paintwork.

Like JAJH said but I found it's best to wash the bugs off it while it's still on and not on the ground or hangging off the clothesline and take it off to hang out to dry
