Default CAI + Tune

Hi Team,

My XR6 NA has a custom built CAI, which is basically a mixture of silicone hosing, aluminium piping and clamps that go from the throttle body directly into the airbox (which has the standard panel filter) that was put on when I first bought the car - stupid idea in hindsight.

I'm after a BPR CAI and I'm keen to get it done ASAP - however will I need to buy the original hard plastic air intake pipe that fits onto the throttle body before you can fit your CAI.

After I've done this, I have Hi Tech extractors, a hi-flow cat and a cat-back system so i'm keen to get a custom tune (or flash) whatever you can recommend, as the car currently DRINKS - 60L tank and I get just over 350kms.

Can I bring the car in on Friday for the CAI? or do I need to book way in advance?

Thanks heaps!

John

Any car will improve with a tune as well as any car will improve with CAI or Exhaust fitted.

If the car is loosing power after doing some mods, I would think something is wrong with the car..

Book the car in so we can have a look at it and get to the bottom of it for you..

Thanks
Theo
