Hi All,
I have transplanted an XR6T engine into my BA Wagon, and ready to hit the track to see what she can run. Engine is stock, have done a 4" exhaust, used my C4 trans, and a dominator 3000 stally. Will be on ET Streets, but final ratio is tall, stock wagon job. Made 260RW KW on dyno, any idea what it might run on the quarter? |

Depends on heaps of factors - have you still got the cat? If not, it will go into limp mode and you will run a 17 sec time. If it's tuned properly and running well it could run a 12.
If the 260rwkw figure is right then a high 12 should be achievable.

Has it been tuned? Take it to the track and have some fun. With the stall and ET's she should run a 12.something if set up right with a good tune.

Hey, it went 12.63 on the last run of the night, pretty stoked with that. Yeah it has a CPV tune, thanks Dave the tune is spot on!

I was in tower on weekend at Palmyra. Definately a sleeper.
A ute diff with LSD and better ratio will do wonders. Also heard you are on stock intercooler. Definitely bin that and upgrade come summer. Put up a build thread in the B-series section

Hi Stazza, yeah I have a 9" being done to go in it and will lower the ratio a bit, but I want it to be drivable long distances and with the C4 it is on 2800 at 100klm now so i can't go too far. The tyres I used were borrowed, I have some coming from the states that are lower profile and will make it better also.
Are you the "guy in the tower that sells intercoolers" I heard about? If so we need to talk, PM me your number and I will give you a bell. Cheers |

Adam told me you were chasing an intercooler. I just upgraded my setup with a new cooler, intake and plenum so i had my old gear to sell. But, someone bought it last night sorry.
Still plenty of kits around if you look on ebay. I bought my current kit brand new in box 2nd hand $500 cheaper then new.

Only 16mph in the 2nd half tells me something's not right . 260 should have run at least 112mph + . Should also be picking up over 20mph in the deepend . Not a bad starting point

Update for you lads -
We had a little break while I got a new tailshaft made, got it back out to the track last month. Haven't touched the engine, have 9" now with 3.7 ratio - Ran 12.018 at Benaraby Raceway! So close to an 11, getting there LOL |
