Hi guys, I'm trying to jack up the rear end of my wagon, but I don't know where to jack it up from, or where to put the jack stands.
I'm using a 1650kg hydraulic jack, and the owner's manual doesn't help AT ALL!  It was suggested to me to use the front end of the leaf spring system, where it connects to the car for the jacking position?? Advice would be appreciated ASAP! Thanks, |

jack up from the diff. done this a lot, never a problem

I would, if I could! The rear of my wagon has a swaybar which is in the way of my diff. It was fitted when Skip first started service as a transport inspector vehicle carrying heavy equipment in the back, back in 01!
Anyway so I managed to.jack it from.the point I mentioned, and pushed a jackstand under the axle, before setting it down. Would be keen to learn of the proper place to jack it up from though! |

Here's a couple I took last year. The swaybar probably won't stay when the RTV suspension goes in, as it does lower the clearance. Definitely helps with handling though, along with the extra leaf and Koni shocks. It handles a full load of exhibition equipment very well, never has ever reached standard height!
